Which types of equipment are there and which one does my equipment belong to?

One WEEE-registration per type of equipment

If you require a WEEE-registration then you apply not for each individual piece of equipment (e.g. toaster), but for a type of equipment. One type of equipment is a general term for certain types of electrical and electronic equipment.

There are types of equipment for electrical and electronic equipment that at least can also be used in private houeseholds (b2c-equipment) and such that is exclusively used in commercial environments (b2b-equipment).

Gas discharge lamps, that can be used in private households
Lamps, that can be used in private households
Large equipment, that can be used in private households
Large photovoltaic modules, that can be used in private households
Small photovoltaic modules, that can be used in private households
