If you are applying for registration for electrical and electronic equipment that is only used in commercial environments and not in private households (b2b equipment), you have to provide prima facie evidence with the application that the equipment is not used in private households.

Please take a stand on the following points:

Which type of electrical and electronic equipment is it exactly that is to be placed on the market under the brand for which the registration is being applied for?
What is the electrical and electronic equipment used for? What is its function?
If applicable: How is it embedded in a system and what is its function therein?
Why is this type of electrical and electronic equipment not usually found in private households?

Important: Generally neither the distribution channel, nor the price play a part. Your statement should be complemented with product brochures, documentations and photographs of the respective electrical and electronic equipment. Please ensure that all information is submitted in German.
